The main difference between each Magnum Bikes e-bike battery is the voltage and amp-hours.
Think of the voltage as the size of an engine; this determines the power output of your e-bike battery. More voltage means more power: for example, a 48V battery will be more powerful than a 36V.
Now think of the amp-hours as the capacity of a gas tank. The higher the number, the greater the range. A 17.5ah battery has a longer mile range than a 13ah battery.
*Safety note: the voltage of any battery you use for your Magnum Bike must be compatible with your e-bike model as well as with the controller and charger you use. For example, only use a 48V battery with a 48V charger.*
Using an incompatible charger or controller could damage your battery or bike — or even cause an electrical fire.
Consult the e-bike manual for your model to ensure you are using the right battery for your bike.
